As you step inside, you’ll be enveloped by a warm aura and the aroma of mouthwatering dishes being prepared. The menu is a delightful celebration of Taiwanese flavors, with standout dishes that keep locals coming back for more. The Beef Noodle Soup, hailed as the house specialty, has captured the hearts (and stomachs) of many. It's a harmonious blend of tender braised beef, housemade broth, wide noodles, bok choy, and a perfectly cooked ajitama egg—all for $19.50. It’s no wonder customers like Jeremy Gu have dubbed it “god tier,” recognizing the rich flavors and delightful textures.
- Pork Over Noodles - A tantalizing bowl of ground pork, served with noodles, mushrooms, and fresh cucumbers for $14.50.
- Sesame Noodles - Recommended by many, this dish features wide noodles tossed in a housemade sauce that dances on the palate, beautifully combined with chili oil and ajitama egg.
- Popcorn Chicken - A crowd favorite, each piece is house-breaded and fried to perfection, praised for its juiciness and tenderness.
For those seeking a delightful crunch, the Sesame Balls and Potstickers are excellent choices, each promising a flavor explosion that lingers long after the last bite. And don't miss the chance to try their Crullers—deep-fried dough sticks that pair perfectly with beef noodle soup.
Formoosa’s non-alcoholic offerings, like the Mango Jasmine Iced Tea and refreshing Grapefruit Lemonade, cleanse the palate and enhance your dining experience.
Customer service is another strong point at Formoosa. The staff, often praised for their attentive and friendly demeanor, helps create a warm and welcoming environment that’s as comforting as the food.
In a city brimming with culinary experiences, formoosa stands out not only for its authentic Taiwanese dishes but also for its ability to make each guest feel special. Another top notch spot on Convoy St. I got the mango ginseng tea to start; delicious. Went for an all sesame experience getting the balls, wontons, and noodles. Great rich flavor on all the dishes. Would definitely recommend

We ordered beef roll, popcorn chicken and black sesame noodles. Although the beef roll is slightly greasy, but the flavor is so savory and tasty Popcorn chicken is tender and juicy. Black sesame noodles is unique and flavorful. Beef roll and popcorn chicken are my 2 favorites, will definitely come back again and recommend to anyone.
